If my baby's father's nephew have Osteogenesis Imperfecta, is it imagined my babe-in-arms will?

I am only eight weeks along.
He have 10 nephews and nieces and only one have it, and that nephew is the only child within the family by his/that father.
Thanks! Have you be able to find out any information roughly the disorder, like whether it is surrounded by deed genetic and what facts nearby are about carrier? That may help to put your mind at contentment.
For example: My husband's oldest brother had a short time ago one daughter. She has Myotonic Muscular Dystrophy. We found out that it is genetic, and that both parents do NOT hold to be carriers to go past it along, just one rattan be. We also were competent to find out that if the disease presents itself in infantsy explicitly is commonly passed on by the mother, and if the disease presents itself in manhood it is comonly passed on by the father.
Try to find some websites about the disease and see what info is out at hand. there may even be a message board to speak next to people in the order of it, if you and your fiance are too uncomfortable broaching the subject beside your future brother-in-law
Good luck!!
Not necessarily, but htis should be brought up contained by conversation with your Dr.
